General School Links
Ambleweb vmstar.gif (1122 bytes)
The website of Ambleside Primary School - possibly the best school website in the world! GO! LOOK!
Bullet1.gif (148 bytes) Brynherbert Community Primary School
Our first website with pages in Welsh! A nice school site, mirrored in English. Look in the Worksheets for Teachers Section for lots of downloadable resources, especially if you are teaching in Welsh. (Note, though, that although the resources are all named in Welsh, many of them are actually in English or are bilingual).

Bullet1.gif (148 bytes) Camelsdale First School Teach with ICT vmstar.gif (1122 bytes)
Lots of downloadable resources for using ICT with early years children. Veronica Carter, the school's EY Co-ordinator (some of whose work is already in our Resources Vault) has collected materials prepared by herself and her colleagues. Most of the materials are MS Powerpoint files and cover Numeracy, Literacy, Technology and Science. Many of the resources here could be adapted to use with older children.

Child's Hill Primary School (Barnet)
This site has both information about the school and it's activites and a growing collection of resources (worksheets and ideas)
bullet1.gif (148 bytes) Kelsall Community Primary School (Cheshire) vmstar.gif (1122 bytes)
Excellent site, clearly organised and lots of interesting stuff by and for the children. Well worth visiting for their Odyssey interactive adventure alone - there is a fascinating page about how they did it.
bullet1.gif (148 bytes) Kingsbury School vmstar.gif (1122 bytes)
Kingsbury School, Skelmersdale and Ormskirk, Lancashire, is a small UK state school serving the needs of pupils aged from 2 to 19 with Autism, SLD and PMLD (severe and profound cognitive disabilities). Their multi-award winning website is well worth a visit. It is media-rich, making extensive use of Flash and MS Agent technologies. There are interactive games, downloads (of policy and planning documents and Flash activities), homepages for each of the pupils, as well as information about the school. Excellent!
Nettlesworth Primary School (Durham) ks2.gif (967 bytes)vmstar.gif (1122 bytes)
Excellent site with lots of children's work. I particularly like their history pages
Norton St Nicholas JMI School (Hertfordshire)

The webmaster is one of our own ICTeachers. Say no more!
Palm Bay Primary School (Kent)
Here is a school in the early stages of developing their website.  They seem to be getting it right and it looks as if the site has potential. It's a well thought out and attractively designed site with easy navigation.
Perton Middle School's Learning About Religion Site ks2.gif (967 bytes)ks3.gif (965 bytes)
This is a school website devoted to learning about religion. An excellent example of the sort of work that a school can do. There is also a useful links list on the Homework page.

Poplar Primary School (South West London) vmstar.gif (1122 bytes)
This is the Vaultman's own school website, made with his own fair hands! Of course I recommend a look!
Ranvilles Infant School (Hampshire)
vmstar.gif (1122 bytes)
An excellent example of an infant school website. Clear, simple and with good content.
Southwold Primary School (Nottingham)  vmstar.gif (1122 bytes)
This site just gets better and better. Now one of the best. Bectan Sands (The Village) is a collaborative Literacy project that involved children in schools around the country inventing and describing a fictitious English village. Your children can contribute, too. Also read the school newspaper online and lots lots more. See what a school website could be.
Snaith Primary School (Yorkshire)
vmstar.gif (1122 bytes)
Snaith Primary's prize winning site is well worth a look. This is another site that just gets better and better. This site concentrates on work for and by children. Lots of useful things Highly recommended.
Technology in the Classroom (Malta) vmstar.gif (1122 bytes)
This colourful and lively site is dedicated to showing the work of a class of 9 year olds at Guzeppina Deguara Primary School. You can read their online newspaper, see samples of their work, hear the Maltese national anthem and find out about theirt home village (it looks wonderful!) The pages are graphics-internsive and hence rather slow to load but I think they are worth the wait. (This is the first non-UK school in our list - I hope it's not the last!)
Templepatrick Primary School, (N.Ireland)
vmstar.gif (1122 bytes)
This site has won several well-deserved prizes. It is lively, and friendly with easy navigation. Worth a good look.
Woodland Wide Web
vmstar.gif (1122 bytes)
This is the website of Woodland Grange Primary School in Leicestershire. It is an excellent example of a school website, providing a showcase for the school and its children and a great collection of on-line educational activities (Oh - and some games too!)
